There are multiple ways to find an IP address on Mac computers running IOS. If your require knowing you IP address, then one of the following methods can help.
Method 1: Using the System Preferences
Click on the Apple menu icon in the top-left corner of your screen.
Select “System Preferences” from the drop-down menu.
Click on “Network” in the System Preferences window.
Your IP address will be listed next to the “Status” message at the top of the Network window. The IP address will be labeled as “IP address:” and will be a series of numbers separated by periods.
Method 2: Using the System Preferences
Open the Terminal app. You can find it in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder, or by using Spotlight search (press Command + Space and type “Terminal”).
Type “ifconfig” in the Terminal window and press enter.
Look for the entry labeled “inet” under the section for the active network interface (usually “en0” or “en1”). Your IP address will be listed next to “inet” and will be a series of numbers separated by periods.
